Financial education for everyone. Resista provides a safe, practical way to develop financial awareness — starting from the spending habits people already have. We aim to help young people understand how money and markets work before they need to make real decisions about them.
Our Story
Big Other began with a question: why is financial education so disconnected from how people actually interact with money? Theory alone doesn't stick. Real trading is too risky for beginners. We built Resista to sit in between — an app where the receipt you'd normally throw away becomes the starting point for understanding spending, exploring markets, and building long-term financial intuition. Learning from what you already do, in an environment where it's safe to be curious.
Current Stage
Resista is in iOS beta, covering 49,000+ verified convenience store locations across Japan and Taiwan. The current version includes receipt scanning with AI-powered analysis, a location-based territory game across major konbini chains, an investment simulator with over 20 assets based on real market data, and a progressive achievement system. We are gathering feedback from early users and continuing to develop the experience.
